With the Sequencer Tour, re:publica, Reeperbahn Festival and next media accelerator will offer a platform for discussions and exchanges through a series of innovative event formats. First stop: Los Angeles!

The Sequencer Tour will bring German projects to the US, inspire one other, and jointly create a sequence of new ideas. The events will link communities, issues, and, ultimately, two continents.

As part of the Sequencer Tour, re:publica and Reeperbahn Festival are hosting exciting events in Los Angeles as part of the Year of German-American Friendship (“Deutschlandjahr USA”), an initiative funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, implemented by the Goethe-Institut, and with support from the Federation of German Industries (BDI).

- Exhibition by Reeperbahn Festival

The exhibition “It started in Hamburg" is dedicated to Klaus Voorman’s creative work including his iconic cover art for The Beatles’ Revolver album and other contemporary bands. On display will be sketches, graphics and objects. See you there!

Whats the best way to see and hear new exciting music? Go to a club! Reeperbahn Festival will be holding it’s international music showcase feat. FINDLAY, GIANT ROOKS, LINAFORNIA & MAVI PHOENIX.

In cooperation with the International Music Managers Forum (IMMF) and the German Publisher Association (DMV) Reeperbahn Festival will invite music industry professionals to attend keynote interviews and matchmaking opportunities on November 1 and 2, 2018. For further information please contact

- Conference Programme by re:publica

Curated by re:publica, the conference programme focuses on two main topics: The “Politics & Society” track looks at “Progressive Movements” amongst other topics. The “Leisure & Lifestyle” track focuses on topics such as digital sovereignty, digital culture, and digital social justice.
