The film accompanies the pianist and admirer Schnabels, Markus Pawlik, during the preparations for a concert at the Musikfest Berlin. The aim is to commemorate Artur Schnabel and bring back his most important compositions to Germany.
At the opening of the evening Markus Pawlik plays the first movement from Robert Schumann's Fantasia Op. 17 and after the screening, there will be a discussion with Markus Pawlik and Matthew Mishory.
